Welcome to Meat City Smokers. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. Use of this Website

You must use this website lawfully and in line with all relevant UK laws. If you are accessing it from outside the UK, it is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws.

2. Intellectual Property

All images, designs, text, logos, and product descriptions on this website are the property of Meat City Smokers Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our written permission.

3. Products and Orders

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation. By placing an order, you confirm that the details you provide are correct and that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order if necessary. Prices are subject to change without notice.

4. Warranty

We take pride in the quality and durability of our products. Our warranty covers:

  • Main Body & Welds – 5 years against defects in materials and workmanship.
  • Paint & Finishes – not applicable.
  • Electrical / mechanical components (i.e. rotisserie, gas struts and springs) - not applicable.

What is not covered:

  • Rust, discolouration, or general weathering.
  • Misuse, neglect, or improper assembly.
  • Commercial use (unless agreed in writing).
  • Damage caused by fire beyond intended cooking use or unauthorised modifications.

Where a valid claim is made, we will at our discretion repair, replace, or supply parts. Proof of purchase will be required.

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

5. Returns & Refunds

Standard Cancellations

If you are a UK consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, provided the item is unused and returned in its original condition and packaging.

Exclusions

  • Bespoke or custom-built smokers cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has started.
  • Products that have been used (lit, cooked on, or assembled in a way that prevents resale) cannot be returned unless faulty.

Faulty Goods

  • Within 30 days: full refund available.
  • Within 6 months: repair or replacement, or refund if this is not possible.
  • Up to 6 years: entitlement to repair or partial refund if the product fails to last a reasonable time.

Return Costs

  • If the product is not faulty, return delivery or collection costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • For large items such as smokers, we can arrange collection at cost.

International Orders

Customers outside the UK are responsible for return shipping costs and any import duties, unless the product is faulty.

6. Delivery

Delivery costs and lead times depend on destination and product size. Tracking details will be provided where available.

International buyers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes payable on import.

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of our website or products. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any matter that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales.

Refund & Returns Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please see below for our policy:

  1. Cooling-Off Period (UK Customers) – You may cancel your order within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging.
  2. Custom Orders – Bespoke or made-to-order smokers are non-refundable once production has started, unless faulty.
  3. Used Products – Items that have been used (lit or cooked on) cannot be refunded or exchanged unless defective.
  4. Faulty Products – If your smoker or accessory develops a fault, we will arrange repair, replacement, or refund as required by UK consumer law.
  5. Returns Process – Please contact us at support@meatcitysmokers.com before sending anything back. Returns must be agreed in advance.
  6. Costs – Return shipping or collection is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty. Collection charges will reflect actual costs and will not exceed them.
  7. International Returns – Customers outside the UK are responsible for all return costs, unless the product is defective or not as described.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned product (or proof of posting).
